By and large, it was absolutely fabulous place with very welcoming staff from the gardeners to the receptionists. Stunning location, the private parking was available. There were local supermarkets and supermarkets around the hotel.

Stayed here for 9 nights with my kids, had a really comfortable stay. Location: the hotel was next to restaurants, the main tourist attractions in Funchal and departure points for buses/tours, the gorgeous botanical gardens and exciting Funchal. I saw Jardim Panoramico, that's a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue. The service was exceptional and the pool was heated.

All in all, it's exceptional place that has highly trained staff from the gardeners to the receptionists. The location is perfect and nice and they have parking on site. Crumbs, where you can eat, is few metres away from the hotel.

The hotel has lovely location not far from the peaceful gardens and an amazing Manor House of an old estate, which still hosts a banana plantation. The breakfast was nice hot with eggs cooked to order, cooked eggs plus a very nice cake and the restaurant food was outstanding. Responsive staff from the gardeners to the receptionists, and facilities were really comfortable here. We stayed for trip and would stay here again.

The hotel was set in a central area really close to the bridge going into town, and the gardens of the manor house overlooking the lawns. Both rooms we booked were luxurious and elegant with garden access, the bar, a nice SE facing patio area with loungers.

The venue was set in the central position so close to beautiful manicured tropical gardens, and manor house, poolside villa, 2bedroom, large bathroom, good beds, beautiful antique furniture, 2 flatscreen tv sets, excellant wi-fi, private garden, good lunch, lots of cakes at breakfast. There was Restaurante Tokos right by the hotel.

Wonderful central location just next door to an absolutely wonderful island as well as the gardens of the manor house overlooking the lawns & terraces. It also was on to the beautiful garden.
