My room was both new-fashioned and top-notch with balcony as well as garden. As for me, the location was tranquil, not far from another high end hotel/restaurant for variation, Belmond Reid's Palace and a fantastic island. Also, Municipal Garden of Funchal was 2 km away from the venue. The breakfast in the poolside restaurant for dinner was extensive.

In relation to the good price paid, it was beautifully kept place to stay with very good service. The location was tranquil and ideal, just next door to the comfortable cocktail bar, the ' William ' restaurant for the sweetest lobster ever and Reid's Palace for 2 nights during the World Travel Awards Gala in June. The poolside bar was fantastic and the drinks were alcoholic❤

Appreciated my thoroughly enjoyable stay of our holiday at Reids. The staff were well-trained and friendly efficient, everything was fantastic! I ate at a pretty good restaurant for dinner. The view across the gardens from the window was fantastic. The location was excellent, the room was top-notch. You could walk to the main shopping centre and supermarkets.

X tonel restaurante is easy walk to the hotel. A port is very close. Overall it was a wonderful stay. Sao Pedro district is a good choice and absolutely worth visiting.
