Had comfy twin room with a great view from the balcony, tea, facilities to make tea. The pool was nice, the staff was incredibly nice.
Even though we agreed to pay gbp 7 per 24 hours to access the net, Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Our stay here was very good, brilliant base for exploring Funchal. The location was best possible and perfectly comfortable there, in really steepy hill. Further, it was just next door to restaurants in the old town, near a super market, the city centre as well as the Monte church and botanical garden and Funchal in February. The staff were caring and a great breakfast was provided.
