My stay here was luxurious. The whole place was impeccably clean and the staff were hard-working. Deluxe queen room was brand-new and air-conditioned had hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was comfortable.
Wi-Fi was quite slow; usual breakfast, a little disappointed.

The venue is neat and spacious, views are breathtaking, the location is excellent just next door to Funchal centre, the fort and mountains and the bay of Funchal. Classic king room is air-conditioned, has a good-sized bathroom. There is an outdoor restaurant on site. No complaints, we would return there.
