My standard room was nicely furnished with a work desk, a multi-channel television, and a sitting area. The location was incredible and stunning, just a short stroll away from The Cavern Club. There were a supermarket and a convenience shop around the hotel.

The single room was well maintained and double superior. The bed was large, and the staff were attentive people who really knew how to give the best service. The location was in an unbeatable place, right by beautiful gardens which are stunning even in January and the quiet residential suburbs of Funchal, I thoroughly enjoyed that. I ate in the a la carte restaurant nearby.

Regarding service, it was very good with a shuttle from town. Double superior rooms were decent size, and the beds were large. The hotel was in a magnificent location very close to a town-beautiful gardens, manor house and the centre of the town.

The room was extremely spacious with a balcony which was lovely to sit out on and the staff was unobtrusive! The location was marvellous - right by a tropical forest, the nearby supermarket and Funchal which took about 20-30 minutes. Cafe Sesamo located 1 km away was a nice surprise.
