Magnificent and amazing location in Funchal, just off museums, seafront, market, old town, bodega D'oliveras and Borges and busstation, and museums and Cathedral near marina, taxis, buses. Again, not far from Marina do Funchal. Amicable staff who agreed on early check-in and late check-out, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated rooms. An electric kettle, a microwave, and air conditioning - very useful.

It had unbeatable location very close to the restaurants and tour busses as well as the centre of Funchal, restaurants, the ocean. Great that they have wheelchair accessible rooms with very comfy beds and wardrobe space plus nice views; everyone is welcome here.

It's best base for visiting some must see attractions in Funchal. The staff are helpful and excellent as well as the host. The property's location is excellent, really close to all the important places, the hill and the square below.

It was as expected, had a perfect stay for the first 2 nights of a 3 night stay. The property was clean and staff was very amiable. The location was absolutely perfect close to a beautiful historic building and a cathedral. I appreciated hot beverages at Pastelaria Penha D'aguia. There was plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
