Truly enjoyed every detail about my quite comfortable 7 nights stay here. The staff were all pretty friendly, which was unquestionably a plus. The location was great for exploring this very quiet area, so close to the entire hill and ocean, the gardens and the centre of Funchal and the botanical gardens. Also, North Shore was 3 km away from the hotel.

The place was original and absolutely great, no complaint, recommend. Our family queen studio was well-equipped with a lovely view as well as balcony. It was an excellant location so close to the centre of Funchal, the colourful gardens which felt private and peaceful and very many nice restaurants.

The total stay was quite comfortable with maid service provided 3 times during our stay. The hotel had a great and stunning location a few steps away from Church. You could walk to a large supermarket and supermarkets.

Everything was good, very helpful staff, wonderful views of the ocean. The room was reasonably large and featured central heating, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Kitchenette was ok for me. Perfect location in a residential neighbourhood was a plus.

Reasonably large room and clean bathroom with a hair dryer, a bidet and bath sheets. Hypoallergenic pillows, exceptionally comfortable bed. Free parking on-site provided. Early check-in. Perfect location even in October like a big outdoor botanical garden, original style building.

O Tasco, where you can eat, is only a short distance to the hotel. Having a veranda was like a dream. The view from the window was LOVELY.
